Parwarish Organization is a nonprofit organization in Pakistan dedicated to the education, protection, and long-term development of orphan and vulnerable children in Swat. It was established in response to the 2009 humanitarian crisis, during which thousands of children lost their parents due to militancy and conflict in the region.
Founded in November 2009 with limited resources, Parwarish began its journey in a rented facility with just 35 students. Over the years, it has grown into a well-reputed charitable institution, committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for children in need.
Supported by the Pakistan Association Dubai (PAD) and local communities, Parwarish continues to expand its impact while staying true to its mission of care, education, and protection.
Today, Parwarish supports 265 students, including 77 girls, by providing:
Between 2021 and 2025, 82 students have successfully graduated from the institution, including 37 girls reflecting a strong commitment to inclusive education and empowerment.
The organization operates on a child sponsorship model, primarily supported by members of the Pakistan Association Dubai, along with generous contributions from local communities in Swat. This collective effort ensures that every child receives consistent care and opportunities for a better future.
Parwarish is a registered non-governmental and not-for-profit organization in Pakistan. It is officially registered with the Department of Social Welfare under the Registration and Control Ordinance (XLVI of 1961) with Registration No. 3484.

To expand its capacity and provide better facilities, Parwarish has acquired 50 kanal of waqf land in Guli Bagh, Mingora, near Swat Cadet College. Surrounded by natural beauty, this new complex is currently under construction and will serve as a permanent, purpose-built facility for the children.
This development marks a significant step forward in strengthening the organization’s ability to support more children in a secure and inspiring environment.
