Ayesha's Story
“From uncertainty to straight A's.”

When Ayesha arrived at Parwarish at eight years old, she hadn't been to school in two years. Today she is one of our top students and dreams of becoming a doctor.
When Ayesha arrived at Parwarish at eight years old, she hadn't been to school in two years. Quiet and cautious, she sat at the back of every room and rarely spoke. The loss of her father had stolen not just a parent but her confidence, her security, and her sense of who she might become.
Within weeks, our teachers and caregivers noticed something: Ayesha was extraordinarily bright. She absorbed new information faster than almost any student they had seen. All she had needed was a stable place and someone to believe in her.
Two years later, Ayesha was at the top of her class. She began tutoring younger children in the evenings, a role she took with remarkable seriousness. "I want them to know it's possible," she told her caregiver, "because someone showed me."
Today, at sixteen, Ayesha is preparing for her matriculation examinations with an ambition she states simply and without hesitation: she wants to be a doctor. She wants to come back to Swat and serve her community.
Her story is not an exception at Parwarish. It is what happens when a child who has lost everything is given what every child deserves — stability, care, and a future.
