What We Do
Five programmes. One mission.
We address every dimension of a child's wellbeing — because a roof alone is never enough.

Quality Education
At Parwarish, we believe education is the most powerful tool for breaking the cycle of poverty. Our children attend formal schooling with dedicated teachers, supplementary tutoring, and a fully equipped library. We track each child's progress individually, celebrating milestones and providing extra support where needed. From primary school through matriculation, we invest in every child's academic journey.
- 100% school enrollment for all children in our care
- Dedicated tutoring support for struggling students
- Computer literacy and digital skills training
- Vocational guidance for older students

Safe Housing
Our purpose-built facility in Swat provides a genuine home environment for over 265 children. The Mumtaz Block for girls and the Boys Hostel are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Children have their own sleeping quarters, common areas for socialising, and quiet zones for study. A dedicated mosque on the grounds fosters spiritual wellbeing.
- Safe, clean accommodation for 265+ children
- Separate, secure facilities for boys and girls
- Communal prayer and reflection spaces
- Regular maintenance and facility upgrades

Nutritious Meals
Proper nutrition is fundamental to a child's physical and cognitive development. Our kitchen prepares three freshly cooked, nutritionally balanced meals every day for every child. Menus are planned with input from nutritional guidelines, seasonal produce, and the cultural preferences of our children. Special dietary needs are always accommodated.
- Three nutritionally balanced meals daily
- Culturally appropriate, freshly cooked food
- Clean, hygienic kitchen and dining facilities
- Accommodation for dietary needs and preferences

Healthcare
We take a holistic approach to health. Every child receives regular physical check-ups, dental care, and vaccinations. We have a dedicated sick bay and maintain relationships with local hospitals and specialists for complex needs. Increasingly, we are investing in mental health support — recognising that children who have experienced loss carry emotional wounds that need as much care as physical ones.
- Regular physical check-ups for all children
- Dental care and routine vaccinations
- Emergency medical access and specialist referrals
- Growing mental health and counselling support

Mentorship & Care
Beyond material needs, children need to feel seen, valued, and guided. Our staff are trained caregivers who build genuine relationships with every child. Through structured mentorship sessions, recreational activities, and simply being present, they help children develop confidence, resilience, and a sense of identity. Older children are encouraged to mentor younger ones, building leadership skills and a culture of giving back.
- Trained caregivers providing consistent adult guidance
- Structured mentorship sessions and goal-setting
- Recreational sports, arts, and cultural activities
- Peer mentorship programme for older children
